Commissioners, Camden Mayor, held final community cleanup of the year at Evergreen Cemetery and New Camden Cemetery

Commissioner Director Louis Cappelli Jr. and Commissioner Colleen Bianco Bezich joined Camden Mayor Victor Carstarphen and community partners and volunteers for a community cleanup at Evergreen Cemetery and New Camden Cemetery.

“The Camden Strong cleanup program has brought residents, volunteers and community partners together to make a real difference throughout the city,” said Commissioner Director Louis Cappelli Jr. “As we close out another successful season, I want to thank everyone who has given their time and energy throughout the past few months to help keep our neighborhoods, parks, and open spaces clean.”

                        Camden residents were able to obtain information relating to recycling, e-waste, trash disposal, and litter prevention in addition to other programs. The cleanup marks the conclusion of the 2026 Camden Strong cleanup season, which included 11 community cleanups held throughout the city.
